Infrastructure as a service == Service Platform
We have gotten some questions about how the business model of quantum1net works, and even though we feel that the topic has been approached before, we are happy to reply.
Quantum1Net is a Decentralized Service Platform that in many ways works similarly to an “Infrastructure as a Service”.
An IaaS is defined as online services that provide high-level APIs, used for various low-level details of underlying network infrastructure, like physical computing resources, location, data partitioning, scaling, security, backup, etc.
Quantum1Net is a security-first platform and therefore technically is separate from a standard IaaS solution, but from a business perspective, they are very close.
Quantum1Net uses a self-service model for accessing, monitoring, and managing quantum protected decentralized infrastructure services, such as data tunneling, computing, storage, and Smart Services through Smart Agreements and Smart Contracts. Instead of having to purchase the hardware or rent cloud services, users can purchase Q1N resources based on consumption, similar to electricity or other utility billing.
